1. More makeout banditry:

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the assault of a couple at the Red Hill lookout on Tuesday (November 9).

Around 10.45pm, the couple were at the lookout when they noticed a car drive into the car park with its headlights on high beams. Two males exited the vehicle, and approached the couple where a confrontation took place.

The two males were last seen driving away from the lookout in a burgundy Ford Falcon with a rear spoiler and dark window tinting.

The first male offender is described as Caucasian, aged in his late twenties, approximately 187cm (6’1”) tall with a muscular build and short hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.

The second offender is described as Caucasian, aged in his late twenties, approximately 175cm (5’9”) tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured long sleeved shirt, a dark-coloured hat and his face was covered by a dark-coloured bandanna.

Anyone who was in the area of the Red Hill lookout around the time of the incident, or knows the identity of the offenders is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

2. Grassed up in O’Connor:

ACT Policing arrested two men yesterday (November 10) following a number of burglaries in the O’Connor area.

About 7.40pm City Patrol officers received information from a community member that two men aged 29 and 27 were at a residence with a large amount of stolen property.

Checks revealed both men were the subjects of outstanding First Instance warrants in relation to burglary and theft. Officers attended the O’Connor residence and arrested both men on their outstanding warrants.

A search of the residence revealed an extensive amount of stolen property allegedly being the proceeds of six recent burglaries within the suburb of O’Connor and its surrounds. The stolen property included items of jewelry, cosmetics and watches.

Both men were charged with receiving stolen property and will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court today (November 11). Additionally the 27-year-old man was charged with possessing a prohibited substance suspected to be cannabis.

I wonder if the O’Connor bandits are the same assholes that broke into my O’Connor home last year :/

The dudes on Red Hill … sound like the same people that were at the lake in Belco late at night a few days ago ???

“…a confrontation took place.”? How very coy, AFP Media.
