1. Hooded Highwaymen in Haig Park:
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Haig Park, Braddon today (April 16).
Around 1am a 21-year-old Braddon man and 19-year-old Braddon woman were walking home when they were approached by three men. One of the offenders produced what was described as a samurai sword and demanded the victims’ wallets and mobile phones. The victims complied with the demand and were then able to leave the area unharmed and contact police.
The offenders are believed to be aged between 17 and 19 years. Two were described as being of Caucasian appearance and one of Asian appearance. They were all wearing hooded jumpers; two grey and one blue.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of Haig Park overnight or who knows the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Monash today (April 16).
Around 1am police spoke to four male youths all aged 17 and one female youth aged 15. They told police they were walking across the foot bridge on Erindale Drive when they were confronted by two men.
One of the offenders attempted to take a mobile phone from one of the male youths when he was restrained by the victim. The offender escaped the victim’s hold by punching him in the face. The victim received a minor facial injury. The second offender then brandished a knife.
Both offenders demanded valuable items and three of the victims handed over their mobile phones and one victim handed over a wallet. The juveniles were then able to return home and police were contacted.
One of the offenders is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 5’7” (170cms) tall, aged around 18-19 years-old and with a slim build. He was described as wearing a blue hooded jumper and dark-grey tracksuit pants.
The second offender is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 5’11” (180cms) tall, aged around 18-19 years-old and with a slim build. He was described as wearing a dark-grey hooded jumper and grey tracksuit pants.
Police dispatched patrols to the area but were unable to locate the offenders.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of Erindale Drive overnight or who knows the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers
