Seems we have entered a new killing season during which the population will go gangbusters trying to knock off anyone and everyone they can with their mobile killing machines. Its Ok though, cause the only sanction in the arsenal is the speed camera and the penalty notice for a few hundred bucks if one is really unlucky.

Make that five.

Four posts in a row where all agree. Is this a record?

I like how Stanhope has used the accidents to spruik his proposed point to point speed cameras in the CT article, I want to know then the fail to give way and cyclist hitting cameras are to be announced. But then they would probably be placed in places where there is no history of serious accidents too.

Was thinking the same thing, I would like to understand how the point to point cameras would have saved this mans life please Jon?

My thoughts exactly BD. The callousness of the mayor exploiting these deaths in an attempt to justify a measure that would in no way have prevented either tragedy is remarkably low – even for Stanhope.
