1. Early morning tragedy at Campbell High:
- ACT Policing is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 20-year-old man at Campbell this morning.
About 4.15am police were called to Campbell High School on Treloar Crescent amid reports that a man had fallen from the roof of a school building. Upon arrival they found a man being attended to by officers from ACT Ambulance Service however he died at the scene.
A cordon has been established and police are speaking to a number of witnesses. Initial investigations indicate the man had fallen about 20 metres from the roof of a building.
Investigations are continuing.

2. Police suspicious about Lyons:
- ACT Policing will set up a crime prevention bus in the Lyons shops’ car park this Monday (February 23) between 9am and 4pm.
The purpose of the bus is to give members of the public an opportunity to provide police with information in relation to recent suspicious activity in the Lyons area. Police are particularly interested in any information relating to an attempted armed robbery which occurred at a hair salon in Lyons on Thursday, February 12.
About 1pm (February 12), a man entered the Hair Connection salon at the Lyons shops, threatened staff with a knife and demanded money from the register. No money was handed over and the man was last seen heading down Devonport Street towards Port Arthur Street.
The male offender is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm (6 feet) tall, of slim build and has sandy brown coloured hair.
