1. Thuggies move up to petrol stations:
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Caltex Service Station, Marconi Crescent, Kambah this morning (Tuesday 20 April).
Two male offenders, between 17 to 23 years of age, entered the premises around 12:21am and verbally threatened the male attendant.
A sum of cash and cigarettes was stolen by the males who were last seen leaving the area on foot, running in an easterly direction along Marconi Crescent.
The first male offender was described as being Caucasian, of medium build, and about 175cm in height (5’9”). He had a light beard and dark brown short hair and was wearing a black hooded t-shirt with a white and red pattern on the upper back, shoulders and front, blue pants and white shoes. This male had a black jumper draped over his right arm.
The second male offender was described as being Caucasian, with a slim build, and was about 183cm in height (6’). He was clean-shaven and wearing a purple peaked cap, a black t-shirt with a 4-square white coloured motif on the front, black jeans and black sneakers.
Police are urging anyone who may have been near the store at the time of the incident and may have seen the offenders, or may have seen any other suspicious activity which may assist the investigation, to contact Crime Stoppers

2. No fun to be on the wrong end of:
ACT Policing Criminal Investigations members executed a search warrant early this morning (20 April) at an address in Hughes, resulting in the seizure of two rifles.
The two firearms (with scopes) were seized, along with three boxes of ammunition.
The items seized from the search warrant will be forensically examined, and enquiries will be conducted into the origin of the property.

3. Starting young:
ACT Policing arrested two juveniles in the early hours of this morning (April 20) after they had attempted to hide in the roof cavity of the premises they had allegedly burgled.
Police attended the Coles Express Service Station in Charnwood around 1.40am after an alarm activation at the premises. They found indications of unlawful entry via the roof.
Found within the roof cavity near the point of entry were a number of chocolate bar wrappers and items from within the store.
When police officers obtained access to the store and began a search of the premises, two juvenile males – one aged 11 and the other 13 – climbed down and were apprehended.
The juveniles will be charged with aggravated burglary and theft and will appear in the ACT Childrens Court on Friday.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the alleged offenders at the premises, or may have seen or heard any other suspicious behaviour to contact Crime Stoppers
