1. Drunk in Nicholls on a Tuesday night:

ACT Policing has arrested a man after he was allegedly caught driving with a high Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) today (May 26).

About 2.35am police stopped a 28-year-old Nicholls man on Lexcen Avenue, in Nicholls. The man was subjected to a roadside screening test which returned a positive reading and he was taken to Gungahlin Police Station where he recorded a high level BAC of 0.227 grams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.

The man was placed under arrest, taken to the ACT Watch House, charged and bailed to appear at a later date in the ACT Magistrates Court.
