ACT Policing has arrested two South Australia men for an aggravated burglary in Gordon last night (Tuesday 26th October).
Around midnight last night police received a call about two men acting suspiciously in Togo Place. When they arrived police found two men carrying a large sports bag containing jewellery and electrical equipment suspected to be stolen.
After questioning the men police attended a nearby residence and confirmed a burglary had been committed. They contacted the owner of the house and she confirmed the property was hers.
The men were taken to the ACT Watch House an 18 year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today and a 15-year-old youth will face the ACT Children’s Court today. They have both been charged with aggravated burglary, theft and going equipped for theft.

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire at Brand Depot shopping centre at Majura yesterday afternoon (Tuesday October 26).
About 5.40pm police attended the Brand Depot Shopping Centre after a report of a fire at the Go-Lo store located in the shopping centre.
The fire was quickly contained by the store manager who was assisted by staff members from other stores. A significant amount of stock was damaged as a result of the fire however no one was injured.
AFP Forensic Services conducted an examination of the scene earlier today and investigations are continuing into the cause.
