A 25-year-old Chifley man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with multiple sex-related offences.
Police will allege that on Friday October 22, the man had visited the Phillip unit of a 44-year-old woman, where he allegedly committed four acts of indecency against the woman and a further act of sexual intercourse without consent.
After the man left her home that evening, the woman contacted the Canberra Rape Crisis Centre, and police were later called to attend.
The alleged offender attended Woden Police Station yesterday afternoon (Thursday, October 28), when he was subsequently arrested and later charged with the five offences.

2. Can they leave the spit hood on?
A 27-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning on three counts of assaulting police after members of ACT Policing attended a domestic disturbance in Reid earlier today (Friday, October 29).
Around 5am today, police were called to Kanangra Court in Reid after reports of a domestic disturbance at the unit block.
On arrival, police found a woman in distress and damage to property. Police identified an intoxicated male at the location and determined him to be in breach of his bail conditions.
As the man was taken into custody, he allegedly attempted to headbutt and kick out at the arresting officers. He then spat blood and saliva into the face of one police officer and into the upper body of another officer. OC spray was used on the offender before he was placed in a caged vehicle and taken to the Watch House where the offender repeatedly attempted to fight with police and had to be placed in a spit hood.
He has been charged with breach of bail, three counts of causing harm to a Commonwealth official, and one count of hindering a Commonwealth official.
