1. Lugging a plasma tv down the street is a bad look:

ACT Policing has arrested a man and a woman following a burglary in Kambah yesterday (Friday, June 3).

Around 10.20am police received reports of a man and woman carrying a flat screen television near Pinkerton Circuit, Kambah. It was then ascertained a near-by residence had been broken into and a number of items stolen.

After further enquiries police attended an address on Pinkerton Circuit and arrested a 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman.

The two alleged offenders were conveyed to the Regional Watch House.

Both were charged with aggravated burglary and theft. The man will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, July 4) while the woman was released on bail to appear before Court at a later date.

Australian media spell Gaol as Jail and is now an accepted way to spell it. I think it is a better way to spell it too. Gaol just looks goofy ….. But if the worst thing we have to deal with is a few flags and a spelling of one word, then life is grand.

I’m with you Spideydog. Gaol just doesn’t look right, and cultures have always mixed the words. I’m sure Gaol is French in origin.

But back on topic – what a couple of dip shits.

I bet the house that was burgled, was one of those places on a semi busy street, who decided to place their plasma TV in plain view of everyone driving down the street. Theres a number of houses in my street like that, driving up the street all you see through the window is a monster flat-screen image being projected. If you really must have expensive stuff laying around, then at least close your curtains when its showing off.

Perhaps you’d like to drive down to the harbor to socialize with the locals by sharing some takeout tunafish & shrimp salad with green peppers & velveeta, followed by cookies & jello topped with golden raisins & washed down with soda. Then throw the trash can in the trunk & call your apartment on your cell phone because you’ll need to go to the bathroom.

The worst part – you probably understood most of the above. If not, you can call me on my cell phone & I’ll be your buddy.

I admit, I raged! 😉

These crims are total loser morons. Which is why they think this sort of thing is ok.

Sterilise them all and do the gene pool a favour.

I despair at the quality of criminal produced by our education system. If you’re going to steal a large flat-screen TV from someone’s house the for god’s sake steal a van first.

*TP 3000 does not condone theft & you will go to gaol if you steal

I do believe you when you say you don’t condone theft etc, but going to jail HERE if you steal is just an flat out LIE ……

Living in Kambah West is more of a punishment then the Watch House. But peoples, if you are going to rob someone, PLAN these things. Don’t go walking down the street carrying an expensive TV in the poor areas of Kambah.

Surprise surprise. The man is remanded, the woman gets bail. Maybe she had kids to look after
