I used to work in corporate AV staging and it’s amazing what people will let you do when you’re dressed in black, holding a clipboard and driving a white van.

It reminds me of the urban legend about a bunch of dudes dressed in white lab coats who wandered into Woden Plaza years ago in the middle of the day equipped with ladders and trolleys and simply removed all the Bose PA speakers from their mounts, loaded them into a white van and drove off with them.

$42,000? must’ve been some good gear.
