Huh? In the OP it says one of these clowns was charged with possessing a prohibited substance. What else would that be but drugs? Do you read these things you comment on?

I assume that explosives are also prohibited. And they’re substances. I don’t know if there is any other kind of substance that’s prohibited, but there should be at least these two possibilities.

He may also have had half a kilo of enriched uranium in his back pocket.

I tried smoking SEMTEX but I never got a bang out of it.

Dear Trevar (which I think is just the posh way of spelling Trevor),

You are a very special person.

LSWCHP Now your showing some understanding.

One could ask the same question. Do you understand what you are reading. Your comments show a great deal of ignorance. So much I would question your motive for commenting in the first place.

I don’t know. You defiantly don’t know, yet you comment pointlessly.

Fgzk, as Captain RAAF (cheers mate) states plainly here, and as I have also observed on a number of occasions, you seem to be engaged in a campaign of pointless antagonisation of myself and other people who frequent this website. I’m happy for people to disagree with me on a reasoned basis, or even an intemperate basis (it is a riot, after all), but your posts frequently do not appear to be based on reason, logic, or any apparent reflection on the issue at hand.

I come here to engage with other members of the ACT community. I don’t want to engage in pointless conflict for the sake of conflict, and I don’t want to be the subject of apparently random sprays of meaningless, incomprehensible drivel from someone who quite clearly does not have his shit in a line. I also don’t want to spend my time shooting fish in a barrel, which is the sensation I always have when I deal with your ramblings.

So….ta ta for now. I’ll talk to you again when I think you’ve started making sense.

I don’t know what happened. I could make an educated guess. What we do know is a person had a small amount of “some “drug in his possession. Not that unusual in civic. Not a trafficable quantity as far as we know. Groups of men who like violence late night in civic. Just a shot in the dark but maybe alcohol was a major motivator. Why…… Maybe Some guy called Someother guy’s slutty girlfriend a slut. There is a thousand pointless reasons.

Seek help.

The weapon was a baseball bat or something similar. Not something that you’d normally carry on a night out I feel.

One of the guys kept trying to carry it on even after the police arrived. After knocking a police bike over he ended up in the back of the paddy wagon.

Didn’t see the start of it all, saw the last few seconds as the police arrived. At least 2 guys kicking and punching one guy on the ground. Another guy running around with a bat swinging. As soon as I saw that I dialed 000 and the police were there before I had even had a chance to tell the operator which state I was calling from.

FGZK, you think I shoot before I aim but you are losing the plot! It’s as if you are just making it your business to disagree with as many people as you can just for shits and giggles. You off your meds?

Hmmm…two armed men, one possessing a controlled substance engage in some biff with at least 4 other blokes in Civic at 3am. And police respond from Woden, Gungahlin and Belconnen. Must’ve been a mighty donnybrook.

A drug deal gone wrong perhaps? An attempt to rip off a dealer?

Very interesting indeed.
