NewActon

NewActon certainly never lacks for new different events.

This is their latest and looks to be super fun.

Expect colourful cocktails, pop-rock band Fun Machine, improv jazz band Xavier Dunn and the best, or maybe worst, music of the pop art era.

Party like its 1963 at Palace Electric and the Grand Stair of Nishi, NewActon.

Dotted with corny reminders of shagadelic times, this is a party even Brad won’t miss.

Two stages to find you’re own space. Lounge or dance as you will.

Pop-art style canapés will flirt around the party and colourful cocktails will be available for sale at two bars.

There are prizes for the best dressed boy and girl!

Entry is free to all, as long as your clothes go POP!

I tried the new Palace Electric at Acton last week. Entry price at $18.50 is a bit hot and the cheapest glass of wine was $9.50 which is red hot. There is nowhere to sit the wine with safety either so don’t wear you best clobber. Paid parking was $3.00 for the 2 hour session which is good for the convenience it offers.
Seats and legroom are good – quality of sight and sound is excellent. It promises a new level of sophistication for Canberra cinema buffs.

awesome!
