Someone calling themselves “ACT Chaiser” (with the email addy “act.chaiser@gmail.com”) is very excited by these photos they’ve sent in:

    hi guys

These where taken at the ANU yesterday, looks like Norvan is retaliating to Barr’s dirt campaign on him

    Cheers

    ACT Chaiser

I can’t say I’d noticed the great Barr-Vogt spat until now. It is however, nice to see that Norvan’s finally got a decent publicity photo displaying a full set of chromosomes.

Why can’t people spell out what they mean?

“Andrew Barr

“Modern” (shacked up with another lad?)
“Responsible” (shut 23 schools as the price for accepting a Ministry?)
“Progressive” (yet another pitch for the jellybabies vote? – eg: “I’m Right but not thaaat right”)

i call shenanigans!

a.) i dont’t believe this ACT chaser persons claims of a dirt campaign because it simply doesn’t make sense for a high profile candidate from a major party to give someone like norvan’s campaign oxygen in this way. seriously norvan had been disappearing off into the ether before this…. why would barr launch a dirt campaign on him? i don’t believe this and will continue not to unless the ACT Chaser can put some evidence up here.

b.) both of the candidates are now (from about midday) being throughly out postered by Passy’s trotskyite thingy.

And not a candidate who will change his political party according to the direction of the electoral wind, while accepting cash from the lobbyists. To me that speaks of power as an end, not the means. And they will need to be paid back.

There is no ACT Democrats (there is barely a national Democrat party) so I can’t see why’d you’d think poorly of anyone getting off that sunk ship…

No, you are right. Should have read – being bankrolled by the Canberra Business Club.

while being bankrolled by the Libs.

While Jim Murphy is a former member of the Liberal Party, it’s dishonest to suggest that Parton is being bankrolled by the Libs.

No – nothing as exciting. I don’t even have a sandpit!

(cue music)

What I would like is to see is a candidate with personal beliefs that they hold dear.
A candidate with a strong set of morals and who will speak out and express them.
A candidate who wants to improve the lives of their fellow citizens. A candidate that can be trusted to fight the good fight on our behalf.

(end music)

Not an ex-radio DJ desperate to trade his fast-fading celebrity into a public life on the pretence of being ‘independent’ while being bankrolled by the Libs.

And not a candidate who will change his political party according to the direction of the electoral wind, while accepting cash from the lobbyists. To me that speaks of power as an end, not the means. And they will need to be paid back.

I agree with the frustration of “No Junk Mail” homes still receiving political propaganda, but in their defence, as much as it pains me to say it, political parties are legally able to distribute unsolicited mail.

LB, did Norvan put his legover your girl or kill your dog?

Or maybe his cat pooed in his sandpit!

Definitely sounds like a happening ‘party’ … *chuckle*

Ha ha and if you look at the slideshow – someone else was already covering the ALP poster with other stuff before the CAP stuff was stuck over. I wonder if they are all invisible by now.

Oh and, is everyone aware that Norvan Vogt and Mark Parton are being bankrolled by the Canberra Business Club – run by ex-Liberal fundraiser Jim Murphy? What does CAP stand for – Community Alcohol Party?

Yes I know I am probably irritating – but I’m amusing myself.

Man I’m bored of this political advertising. None of it impresses me, and I will not be voting for any of the tools who have their non-solicited junk put in my mailbox – on principal. I wonder if any of these idiots have “environmental issues” as part of their campaign.

I have No Junk Mail on my mailbox – yet they choose to dump their s**t in my mailbox.

I would just like to say that as a letterboxer for Matthew Watts in Ginninderra, I have been fully respecting ‘No Junk Mail’ stickers. As such, I think you all should repay my good nature by giving him your vote.

…well it was worth a shot.

Oh and let’s not let it go unsaid in this thread that Norvan is being bankrolled by Jim Murphy.

Oh and let’s not let…..

We got your point the first time Loose Brown. Quite a barrow you’re pushing there

Don’t worry: in a few days no one will be able to see these posters on campus as they’ll probably be covered over with ISO or Resistance crap harping on about the evils of capitalism!

I personally think that controlling Norvan would be like trying to control a herd of wild elephants. At the end of the day, Norvan will always be Norvan I suspect.

Norvan Vogt and Mark Parton on a stick! Held by Jim Murphy and the Canberra Business Club!

This is so delightfully wicked!

*chuckle*

Go, Norvan!!

The way Andrew Barr and his groupies bleat “progressive! progressive!” as if uni students are rats being drawn to the pied piper is insulting to our intelligence.

Not that it isn’t a bit of a waste of time to be blanketing ANU with posters anyway, quite likely over half of the students at ANU are either registered to vote outside of the ACT or not Australian citizens in the first place. That goes for Norvan too.
Better off shaking hands and kissing babies in shopping centers.

Agreed Holden. Thats exactly what I thought at first.

lol @ people still using the term ‘fat cat’. Sorry, whenever someone uses that term I imagine they are grey hair bitter socialists.

Norvan needs to make his posters bigger.

Based on the photos above, a quick passer by would probably think Norvan is “Modern. Responsible. Progressive. Labor for Molongolo.”

Pfffft!! Sell out Norvan’s poster proudly printed by the Canberra business fat cat Jim Murphy society.

Why back one party when you can back two?!? A few bucks here for posters and they owe you their whole career!

That’s twice you don’t have a problem with it! 😉

Not as bad as what some kid did to a couple of Barr’s posters in Woden.

Fight the power Norvan.

Considering Barr bankrolls the Labor Right ticket every year, and considering that those people rip down and paste over other tickets posters, I consider this an EXTREMELY ROUNDABOUT way of karma coming back to him.

What are Norvan and Barr fighting over? I’ve never heard of this spat either.
