So no telly coverage for us couch plebs coz the Auzzie Cricket Board and their TV partners thought it not worthy.

So why not let the local ABC have a go at it. I’m sure they’d like the opportunity to show their flag, and drag out some old cameras sitting unused in cupboards.

Yes of course I know I’m dreaming. TV networks have everything tied up.

No chance the ABC would do this while Abbott is PM; get real.

And they can show it after they reinstate the Shute Shield (club rugby) coverage rather than diverting the money into new iView arts channels on the Net.

The OB vans have been gone.

I’m hoping that is a joke! otherwise I feel sorry for you. The reason the ABC probably can’t do the game, is they wouldn’t have the cameras and people able to do it. They’d have to bring it down from Sydney. You have a better chance of Foxtel doing the game, but only if there was nothing else they could broadcast and right now their efforts are all into the Asian Cup and then the Cricket world cup.

There is another game called tennis which is very popular on free to air TV as well.

.

Maybe if more than 8000 people had bothered to show to watch it, there’d be more incentive to show it live.

It was live streamed, for free, via the Cricket Australia app

Definitely not enough runs scored 🙂 The T20 final could see 250 being scored.
