The Wagga Wagga Daily Advertiser is concerned that Prime’s Wagga news operation is being moved to Canberra:
Veteran Prime News presenter, Doug Hogan has worked in the media industry for 36 years, and 28 years of that time has been spent at Prime Wagga.
He has been promoted to deputy network news editor in Canberra and will continue his role as a leading Prime anchorman.
“The live broadcast will finish up after 46 years, but that is a process of the changing faces of media,” he said.
“You will find that there won’t be a lot of changes, I will still be on the box and the crew here will stay.”
“We have been under fire from some people thinking that we won’t have the same local content while I’m in Canberra but that won’t change.
Shame they can’t do Canberra news from Canberra.
