Proposed landscaping on the GDE - get ready for a slow trip again (maybe).

I’ll go for whatever costs the contractor the least money – probably (d).

I’m going to say e, simply because it leaves the driver in the most amount of doubt over the actual speed limit, and in my experience they do like to leave motorists confused as to what the actual speed limit is around road works. (Cotter road for example)

Of course they will have their point to point speed camera’s set up ready to catch all those “speeding” motorists who where simply just confused as to what the speed limit really was.

How come in France street sweepers regularly work along 80kph roads clearing gutters with no change in speed and here we have to close a lane and slow everything down to 40kph?

Maybe ‘Canberrans’ would prefer if the edge of the road was left as a muddy boggy mess, devoid of any landscaping… just so you dont have to slow down on your new road?
