Well I’ve got a spare ticket to the Brumbies-Crusaders game tonight due to the friend I thought might want it dropping off the face of the earth and not confirming if he wanted it or not.

So if you want a $35 ticket (Bay 50 row K, personally I reckon the view is better down in general admission) for absolutely nothing email me with the reasons why you should get it.

Must be able to be at the Gregan/Larkham entrance at 7pm.

Dusty, the tickets I was referring to are not the ones you are talking about.

Grandstand or sideline is a matter of preference.

But row K in the bowl is a dud seat when you can take a stroll and get a seat one row back from the sideline in general admission.

Dear NTP I still disagree, There still is massive amounts of ‘atmosphere’ up in the stands. I was pleasantly surprised.Try it sometime and see for yourself. There’s still heaps of rugby/ brumby fans up there, all very vocal / involved and I heard heaps of entertaining ‘classics’ up there too. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not about to leave GA but do realise that brumbies fans are brumbies fans, wherever they sit to watch. And yes, I too could have sat at home and watched it on Fox, but it’s just not the same. It was just heaps easier to see the game from up there, thats all I am saying. I’m not entering into a debate about the dedication of any brumbies fans, thats ridiculous and ungeneralisable. Just enjoy the game from wherever you are, and don’t think that the people up there are pretentious, they’re just like us except they’ve shelled out $400 for the season. So what? I think they probably get their money’s worth, condidering the price hike on GA admission, was it $33 for me last time?, can’t remember now, but its not a cheap night out for anyone anymore. Cheers.

Dusty if I want to see the game from afar I watch the replay on Fox (and also for the tactics), down on the sideline is where I sit if I want the atmosphere.

“personally I reckon the view is better down in general admission” Huh? Are you on drugs? I too was kindly given tickets to Bay 10, up the top in the Meninga Stand, and it being my first time up with the snobs, I must unfortunately wholehearedly disagree with you. The view was amazing, I could see everything happening and was right on the halfway line. Stupendous spot, mind you I wouldn’t like to pay for it by the season, but just for once, I was stoked at getting up there and actually being able to follow the game, not just a sea of heads which is what you see in GA.

I’d like to go but my bottom isn’t feeling very well. Sorry.

I went to the 1st ODI at teh MCG this year and was suffering gastro.
Not much fun to get in and out of the seats and shuffflw bow legged to the dunny every 1/2 hr for 8 hours.

Was a good match though – apart from the hersheys.

You’re a good bloke Johnboy.

Fill us all in with the match report and gossip sbout the riot-act ticket taker too! (OF course, I’m sure you will 🙂

BigDave, I doubt this is a johnboy gay pickup ploy…

I shall wave at you JB, from the covered Meninga stand.

darn work 🙁

I’d like to go but my bottom isn’t feeling very well. Sorry.
