Katy Gallagher is reminding those of you still using timepieces not automatically corrected by orbital hydrogen masers that you need to put your clock forward on Sunday morning as daylight savings clicks in.
“In July 2008 the ACT Legislative Assembly unanimously passed legislation to see daylight saving in the ACT start on the first Sunday in October and end on the first Sunday in April,” Ms Gallagher said.
“These arrangements give Canberrans an extra four weeks of daylight saving and will reduce situations where different times for daylight saving cause confusion for interstate travellers and commuters.”
