PWA is very pleased to announce that the 2010 Clash in the Capital will be held at the AMAROO SCHOOL GYMNASIUM on Katherine Ave GUNGAHLIN on Saturday June 12th. This is the biggest wrestling show of the year and it will also be the debut of PWA in Gungahlin. PWA would like to thank Amaroo School for hosting this big event. Pre purchase your Clash in the Capital tickets now to ensure a great seat for the night, just call 0439 807 976 to make the booking.

Clash in the Capital will feature the best pro wrestlers from around the country for 2 hours of action packed wrestling.

The school will also be running a fundraiser on the night by selling food and drinks at the canteen, so come support PWA and Amaroo School. With all tickets only $10 this will be a great night of entertainment for the whole family.

I thought the little fella might get a kick out of this and, at $10 a ticket, no biggie if he didn’t like it.

I imagined I was the last person that would go to this sort of thing, but I remember being taken to the Turner Police Boys Club (as it was known then) to see Killer Carl Cox, Mario Milano and their ilk in World Championship Wrestling and loving it.

I have to say that, until the little man’s attention span waned, these blokes put on a very good show. They don’t take themselves seriously at all, which made for a preofessional looking event, and the boys showed some skills.

If you’ve got kids who love that WWE stuff on TV (and I’m sure this will spark a pissing contest about ‘violence on TV’) I would recommend this as a much cheaper option. It had a real old school community event feel about it.
