PWA is pleased to announce some exciting news for 2011. PWA’s first show of the year has just been confirmed and will be held at the Woden Tradies on February 5th.

PWAC has been providing monthly action packed pro wrestling to Canberra fans for over two years.

We pride ourselves on delivering the most fast paced, high impact, and most fun wrestling show in the country, whilst doing so in a family friendly environment.

Without a doubt PWAC offer one of the most affordable forms of entertainment today. If you have not seen wrestling or only seen it on TV, you are missing out on all the excitement, atmosphere and drama felt only at a PWAC event.

I ended up going along on Saturday and had an absolute blast. I expected that it would be kind of lame but my preconceptions were quickly destroyed! These guys (and girls) put on a great show, and I very much doubt you could find better value entertainment for $10. The crowd really gets into it and that makes it thoroughly enjoyable, if not a tiny bit laughable at times.

The acting won’t win any awards, but I’d rather cheer and shout my way through two hours of PWA wrestling than sit through the latest stuffy local theatre production.

What an awesome night!

The Women’s match was quite possibly the single greatest event held in Canberra’s history.

Thanks to all involved in the organisation and putting on the show. It’s almost time for a new venue.. standing room only!
