Queanbeyan Private Schools

We currently live in Queanbeyan East and are looking to move to Greenleigh Estate.

We have a 16 month old son and are starting to consider his schooling, and are aware that St Gregorys’ is the only private school in Queanbeyan.

Are folks in our region using this school (present or past), and are there other alternatives without having to drive too far i.e. close proximity outside of Queanbeyan or on a bus route from Queanbeyan?

You’d be better off taking advantage of near-free public schooling, and supplementing it with after hours tuition, than paying for the full cost of private schooling. Particularly in Queanbeyan where your local PS is actually pretty good.

settle petal, he’s not even out of nappies.

and whats wrong with a public school? Both Queanbeyan East and Queanbeyan public are good schools. qbn public is considered to be a pseudo private school.

Deane’s Bus Lines do a school run in the morning and afternoons from Greenleigh estate to the Queanbeyan interchange, and then on to a whole bunch of different public and private schools in Canberra.

One bus ride from Queanbeyan to the Southern Highlands boarding schools

Marist or Eddies (in canberra) are your best bet.
