Foxsports have the grisly news of another loss for our brave boys in green.

At least Matt Orford can’t be blamed this time.

With just one win for the season to date the Raiders are now firmly at the bottom of the table with 2 competition points, although there are 8 teams very close with 4 points.

It was a much improved second half performance though. Thurston’s try was a clear knock on, and if the video ref had ruled correctly, it could have been a different outcome.

From the position of armchair expert, the Raiders are playing like a team with no commitment. While their defence isn’t terrible, their go-forward is really lacking and attack is impotent. When they get close to the opposition line their plays visibly slow down as they have no clue what to do with the ball.

By the way, please share more hilarious ‘dog’ puns, they are a witty and insightful commentary on a team that no longer has the offending player in their roster.

You know, if you change the title to “Canberra keeps losing”, you won’t have to bother with writing up the latest cringe-inducing effort from the Fumblies.

Oh Damn!

We did better when all the Sydney experts predicted we would be wooden spooners.

Looks like they are going to have a dog of a year
