Continuing their resemblance to Mark Webber the Canberra Raiders let down their frozen fans last night, losing to the Bulldogs 18-10 at Bruce.

Foxsports had this to say:

Canberra coach David Furner said his side’s effort just wasn’t good enough.

“Our first half was poor, we talked it up, we didn’t deliver, we got well beaten on the ground,” he said.

“Even in the second half, it comes down to desire, attitude and that was disappointing.”

CT was cruel to the Raiders today with their headline:
“Raiders of the lost spark”.

Forwards were good and laid an awesome platform, but we had nothing in the halves.

Our defence has improved massively this season, unfortunately our attacking options in the opposition 20 have really deteriorated over the same period.

Hopefully the team got a rocket from Furner after the game.

and by the bulldogs…..

Good God it was effing cold. Thankfully the young fella had a gutful of it with 10 to go and we could bolt back to the car and the heater.

Once again a 10min period of poor play from the Raiders led to the downfall. This time it was the first 10 instead of the last 10 though

Fox sports has the breaking news, Dugan to face court on driving charges!

Todd carney all over again! I guess this is the new way to get out of a raiders contract!

Whoever the Raiders attack coach is should put his resume in at Domino’s.

I just can’t believe I was dumb enough to sit out in the freezing cold for two hours last night to watch such a pathetic display of football. I feel like a real idiot.
