Foxsports tells the tale of our rampaging Raiders under SuperCoach Furner giving an almighty 34-6 whacking to the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Canberra Raiders ended Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs’ 12-match winning streak on Friday night with a 34-6 belting to inch the Raiders closer to a finals berth.

Winger Sandor Earl scored three tries, Reece Robinson two and fullback Josh Dugan was on fire for the Raiders, who have sneaked into the eight with the win.

They’ve leaped into seventh spot ahead of Brisbane Broncos – who lost to Manly Sea Eagles 16-6 – and Wests Tigers, who are yet to play this weekend.

All the Furner-bashers have gone very quite recently.

I’d make a comment supporting your position, but last time I did that, it wasn’t too popular with some people.

It was a great game from the Raiders, and a game that the Bulldogs could do well to learn from. Small rumour from up the road in the big shity, I mean, city: a late plunge before kickoff at one bookie saw a punter back the Raiders to win by more than 13, to the tune of low-mid five figures. Got 20/1 for it, and must be feeling pretty happy. Enough cash won to buy a house.

All the Furner-bashers have gone very quite recently.
