The ABC reports on the shellacking the Raiders gave the Knights tonight, winning 48-18.

And this with Andrew Johns back on deck.

Even better some French Canadians, sparkly outfits and some interpretive dance.

I’m going to the circus this Saturday night, so i’ll miss the game against the Eels. I shall have to tape it.

On related matters, it was interesting to read Raider’s player Troy Thompson’s blog this week, in which he talks about the Raider’s viewing of Cirque De Soleil:

If you get a chance make sure you get out and see Cirque du Soleil while it’s in town, I was fortunate enough to go to the premiere with the Raiders and … it’s not what I expected when I lined up to go in. I seriously thought there would be a guy holding a chair and a whip trying to tame four midgets …

You can still get it on DVD.

johnboy, I was but a wee teenager in 1989, and could care less about football 🙂

’89 grand final Sammy?

Damn! Best display of recent years by all accounts and I don’t get back from Sydney until after 9pm. Bring back Sunday afternoon football!!!

Campese went ok as well.

Quite possibly the best game I have seen the Raiders play, ever.

The young boys have pulled together, and suddenly they seem to have a wealth of talent.

Life without a car seems to be doing wonders for Carney, and his apprenticeship under Jason Smith the last few years is proving itself.

Dobson is a revelation.

Zillman is proving that he can blossom outside of Schifcoske’s shadow.

The forward pack has some great depth with Weyman, Leyroyd-Lahrs and Thompson all due back next week.

Do we need David Howell?

Happy to be proven wrong, because it means I beat my old nemesis Murphy at his own game.

This was a fantastic win and they proved me wrong. I want them to keep going as they did last night from week to week now.

Awesome game – 4 tries to the Raiders in 15 minutes!! Very entertaining match – Hope more games this season are like it.

Go the Mighty Bunnies

Best attacking game from the Raiders in years. Now for consistency from week to week. Damn it! My son asked if we could go and I said not tonight, I’m waiting for the Raiders to start winning. Bummer!
