The things that drift across my desk would curl your hair.

From the Facebook event page:

A call is going out to all Masters and Slaves, Doms and Subs, Daddies, Dominatrix, Leather Men, Sex Pigs and others in the art of fetish to the Raunch Dance Party at Cube Nightclub.

Come and show Canberra your darker side. Come in your leathers, your rubber, killer heels, harnesses or uniform.

This is not a night for the faint-hearted. This is Raunch!

It’s on at Cube.

Sadly I have other things I want to be doing that night.

Go on JB, put on the gimp suit you keep telling us all about and go and check it out. 😉

I’d feel more than a tad out of place at this. Now, it’d been called “Paunch”… 🙂

I must say I am disappointed at this response.

Do we have an intrepid reporter in our midst?

Sadly I have other things I want to be doing that night.

But if someone wants to take the photos and email them in I can make sure people see them.

Go on Jb, take your camera along.

Is RiotACT intending to provide a slideshow for our vicarious pleasure?

Well, let’s hope that Canberra Tourism runs with this – this’ll get the crowds into Canberra!

Canberra’s boring?????

And again the wannabe Sydney’s and Melbourne’s will be out trying to keep up with how “cosmopolitan” Canberra is.

As the psychiatrist in Fawtly Towrs says; “There’s enough material there for a whole conference.”

Damn, and I’ll be out of town 😉

Hm, I dunno – I no longer find public displays of S&M artifice particuarly scary, so much as … well, a tad nerdy, honestly. Since I realised that it’s basically just a different way of playing out the same impulses as those that make people wear medieval costume and hit each other with bits of wood, or dress in a Star Trek uniform, it became a lot more dorky to me..

Then again, it also helps that I’ve started to think of the Sydney Mardi Gras as a very big Freaking The Mundanes experience…

Wasn’t halloween a couple of weeks ago?

The things that drift across my desk would curl your hair. (or your toes!)
