About this time last year Readable Graffiti released their music video for their track Feathers, now we’re getting the remix.
Super Magic Hats is a Melbourne based musician and has done a fine job twisting Feathers into something new and pretty.
READABLE GRAFFITI ‘FEATHERS (SUPER MAGIC HATS REMIX)’
Before the imminent release of new material Readable Graffiti are bidding goodbye to their succesful 2012 ‘Male Mood Swings’ EP with a reimagining of ‘Feathers’ by producer Super Magic Hats.
For the first ever remix of a Readable Graffiti tune the band decided to look no further than Melbourne local and frequent gig buddy Super Magic Hats. Reworking the track with a strong dash of the ‘Hats trademark emphasis on melody the remix turns the tune into a soundscape of shifting beats and chopped vocals.
To accompany the remix an appropriately trippy video has also been released and is available on the band’s youtube channel.
