I am looking at catering for a not-for-profit groups conference later this year. We just need a simple lunch for Saturday and Sunday, i.e. wraps, sandwiches, sushi and rolls.

As always we need to cater for different dietary restrictions. We are wanting to keep the cost at around $10-15 per person per day. Can anyone suggest a good catering company for this type of event?

Not for profit? Can’t beat Costco – order online, pretty easy really. But I do love what Coyote do as well…..

it’s called BYO, which would be fair seeing it’s not for profit .

Thanks all – yes Coyote is on the shortlist, but I wanted to see if there are any others around (I looked at Mr Cappuccino in Fyshwick but they don’t do weekends unless for a big event).

i will send you an email Polo. Mdn, without any contact details I can’t email you – we looked at self catering but we decided we wanted to be part of the fun not working out the back.

Second Coyote Catering. A little old school but good value and happy with their service.

My wife has just started a catering company, it is called Willow Kitchen and she specialises in amazing home cooked food at great prices.

She regularly caters for meetings at my office and the comments from the visitors are always glowing, in fact one commented that it was the best office lunch he had had in 25 years!

She is happy to discuss any requirements that you may have and create a menu to suit your budget.

If you are keen to talk to her, you can reach her at willowkitchen@teamtwyford.com

Good luck!

When is your conference scheduled to take place, where will it be held and how may are you expecting. I would be happy to assist you with this catering.
You might also like to consider doing it yourselves. To create a really delicious lunch buffet is really very simple and quite inexpensive. If any of your group are Costco members their prepeared wraps, sushi and platters are presented well and are very reasonably priced. It could save you quite a bit of money.

I’ve used Coyote Catering several times for functions and have always been happy with their food/service. You should be able to get a decent feed for around $15 per head each day with Coyote. They also supply a LOT of food, so you may be able to get away with ordering 15-20% less than you think you need.
