The University of Canberra Monitor Online has proudly announced the winner of the “What U C” video competition (we’re sure they were very proud of that clever name).
Yukina Kawase and Tatsuya Yamasaki were awarded first place for their video which focused on the scenery, multiculturalism and kangaroos on campus.
Ms Kawase and Mr Yamasaki were already friends, sharing many of the same interests and activities, and decided to enter the competition to add to their university experience.
For this they have earned themselves an iPad each!
But if you’ve got the time go through and break down the pluses of UC as described here.
I took out these gems:
- — It’s in a wilderness setting
— There’s a lot of ugly architecture
— Lots of other people from all over the world have ended up there too
— Located in Canberra
— The chance to be tutored by the same people who taught a rugby player non-rugby topics and a comedian non-comedy subjects
— The campus has bubblers
— There are kangaroos on the campus, as at animal parks.
These are the prize winning reasons to attend the University of Canberra?
