Dr Pedley at Belconnen (off Emu Bank). Both my sons have gone there. No dramas.

Has retired now unfortunately. But Dr Ray Temo at the Belconnen branch of Super Smiles is the one you want! A bit of a wait but well worth it.

SuperSmiles in Belconnen. Its a brand new office, very modern, and experienced Orthos that have expanded their City office of over 20 years. Good luck!

see Dr Dutta at the new dental practice in Gunghalin next to Fernwood my neighbour is getting her invisalign braces done with him and she cant stop raving about the practice and staff apparently there is a very happy vibe there unusual for dental places I am going to go there with the kids heard he is great with them and is open on saturdays and late evenings

My dentist (Dr Liang at Oasis Dental) is now doing this thing called Six Month Smiles where basically you only have to wear the braces for six months to correct your smile cosmetically. I had ortho when I was younger and a few teeth have moved from not wearing my retainer so I’m getting these which will put my teeth back into place without having to go through the long process of normal braces again (normal braces or invisalign could take up to a year or longer and I really don’t want to wait that long!)
If you need your bite corrected then six month smiles probably won’t work for you but if it’s just for cosmetic reasons then you should definitely consider it.

Dr Temoananui who works with Dr Hyde. It will take about 3 months to get into see him though.

I’d suggest Dr Hyde aswell.
He did my braces when i was a teenager and he is a lovely man.

Another vote for Spiro at Manuka Smiles. Excellent manner, great staff, does a good job. Have had 3 kids worked on by him. Eldest has had braces off for about 18 months and he still does follow up checking based on the payments made while braces were on.

Dr Pedley at Belconnen (off Emu Bank). Both my sons have gone there. No dramas.

+1 for Spiro Pazios. He does my daughter’s braces and she actually looks forward to appointments. The clinic always fits her in at short notice if a part falls off (I suspect there’s some illicit toffee chewing activities going on).

They have premises in Belco too.

Spiro Pazios from Manuka Smiles. Really friendly, great staff.

Orthodontist – Dr. Michael Hyde. He did my braces and all my friend’s braces when we were in HS. He’s absolutely lovely with great staff and a really nice atmosphere (not like those horrible, coffee stained offices you sometimes get).

Dentist – Dr. Kerrigan in Chisholm. I’ve just started seeing him after my family dentist in Sydney retired. Offers great advice on unlike other dentists I’ve seen, listens when you say “ouch”. Really friendly and good for a bit of a chat as well.
