My local (rural) repairer does not have a good reputation, so I am wondering if anyone could recommend a place/person who is well regarded. [For chainsaw repair in Canberra]

Thanks.

I can confirm that there is a mill in Bombala (also known as the town that time forgot – How’s it going down there Nowland?) and that you hear very good things.

If it’s genuine repairs, no idea. If it’s just maintenance or chain sharpening, you should learn to do it yourself. It’s cheaper, and much quicker.

Maintenance and sharpening no worries. It just won’t start. Yes there is petrol, yes there is a spark. But these new machines just seem that much more impenetrable than the old ones. Cheers.

I’ve heard there is someone down in Bombala who runs a timber mill and I have heard very good things – haven’t got the details tho sorry, someone else might.

Outdoor Power Centre in Fyshwick. Be specific about your needs in regards to type of chain.

Believe there is someone down in Kambah who runs a backyard shop and I have heard very good things – haven’t got the details tho sorry, someone else might.
