The much-anticipated Audri development has hit the market, as part of the exciting rejuvenation of Giralang. Audri officially launched 3 November with more than $4 million worth of property sold.

Community spirit is at the heart of Giralang and this unique, mixed-use development of 50 residences and six commercial units is a real opportunity to live in an area where both families and businesses thrive. Audri offers a beautiful suburban setting and one that is only 11 kilometres from the Canberra CBD.

Audri promises to add tremendous value to the immediate and surrounding area. It will be a vibrant community hub where locals can socialise and enjoy easy access to a community centre, sporting fields, schools, cafes, and a wide range of essential facilities and amenities, including a 1000 square-metre supermarket.

Audri has a mix of 1, 2 and 3- bedroom apartments and lofts, with floor plans varying in size and design, offering buyers a home that suits their lifestyle and needs.

Designed to be functional yet effortlessly stylish, Audri features light-filled open-plan living spaces and gourmet kitchens. Fixtures and finishings are quality through and through. Alfresco entertaining areas are inviting.

When designing Audri, developer Nikias Diamond and AMC Architecture catered to a mix of buyers ranging from young families to downsizers, working closely with the ACT Government and Giralang community to deliver a development adding great value to the area.

Nikias Diamond, a family owned and award-winning construction company, has been at the forefront of innovative construction since the 1960s. AMC Architecture, one of Canberra’s leading architectural firms, is known for their innovative design.

Nikias Diamond Director Nikias Diamond, said the views and ideas put forth by the Giralang community were fundamental in creating Audri. “We all wanted to build a community-focused centre, a place we can proudly call our local. Our vision was to create a space where people can meet and interact and conduct their everyday lives. I think we’ve achieved exactly that,” said Dimitri.

Many design components have been chosen to pay respect to the history of Giralang and the community. Giralang is named after the word in the language of the Wiradhuri Aboriginal tribe meaning star. The entry to Audri features a star pattern, to tell the story of the suburb.

There’s already strong interest in Audri from a mix of buyers, says Selling Agent Tony Trpeski of Peter Blackshaw Projects. “We’ve heard from young professionals attracted by the lifestyle benefits, young families wanting to be close to schools, shops and playgrounds, and even those looking to downsize, either from Giralang itself or surrounding suburbs. That’s the beauty of Audri,” says Tony. “The development caters to everyone.”

Many who bought at the launch on 3 November already live in the area. “I sold an apartment to someone who has lived in the suburb for almost 40 years,” says Tony. “They’ve been waiting to downsize for a while but didn’t want to leave the area. They decided to wait for Audri and bought immediately.”

Prices start from $329,900. Construction will begin February 2020. For more information, contact Selling Agent, Tony Trpeski of Peter Blackshaw Projects on 0413 168 733 or visit www.audrigiralang.com.au
