Remembering the Mully?

Interesting to see the ‘Mully’ mentioned once again in our newspapers and on our news services. I had forgotten about his (lack of) greatness and the mayhem, pain, sadness he caused.

How are other Rioters feeling as we approach the anniversary of his death?

Bet he is pissed he didn’t get a memorial in Woden interchange with candles and everything. Just a ‘RIP Mully’ on a toilet door……

Did anyone get an invite to the Memorial Service today at the scene of the accident? There was a large group of bogans with tears weeping down their faces. Numerous Commodores were parked illegally.

I was tempted to grab a Woodstock and join them, but was too well dressed for the occasion.

You could have rubbed some mud on your ugg boots, scuffed holes in them, undone your clothing and half-tucked in your shirt, and shuffle along like a slumped gorilla, you’d have fitted in for sure.

Good post but, thanks for the monday morning chuckle.

No but Queabeyans IQ rating went up a few points……..

Wait, I’m a bit bad with maths… whats -10 + 4?

Educated in the ACT, huh?

Sarcasm actually.
Although while we’re making maths jokes at Quenbeyan’s expense, let’s try this one:
Ask a Canberran what the “golden ratio” is and they’ll tell you it’s an irrational mathematical constant.
Ask a Quenbeyan resident, they’ll tell you it’s the place with happy meals.

Ask a Canberran what the golden ratio is and they’ll tell you it relates to being 54 and 11 months…

Meeeeeeeeooooooowwwwww!!
🙂

You’ll probably have to get in line behind me and all the other people with full bladders.

NSW Police never claimed the duty officer called the pursuit off; they said driver involved in the pursuit called it off.

Do you have a source for this Tooks?
I’ve been looking for the original police statement for a while now – the articles on the ABC site vanish after only a few months

Read the news articles from the beginning of the inquest, there have been at least 2 independent witnesses who have testified that the pursuing police car was slowing in the moments before the moron crashed.

Mully got what he deserved, it’s only a pity he killed an innocent baby.

Good riddance, Mully. Your only contribution to society is that the fresh air you will never breath can be now used by others.

Just the original media reports. A quick Google search should uncover a couple.

Or another novel idea would be to wait and hear ALL of the evidence from the inquest before jumping to conclusions …………. 😉

There’s a sad irony that Skye Webb was attended to at the scene of the accident by an off-duty police woman who may well have saved her life.

Last March, when the accident happened, the police said they had called off the pursuit.
It was mentioned on RiotACT that this claim sounded suspicious because of the timeline associated with it.
Now, it seems (http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/03/16/3165689.htm) they may have been fibbing.

Um, no, you’ve misunderstood the article.

“She told the court today that as duty officer she had the authority to terminate a pursuit via police radio.

But she said on this occasion, she did not deem it appropriate.”

NSW Police never claimed the duty officer called the pursuit off; they said driver involved in the pursuit called it off.

I believe the inquest ends next week. Will be interesting to hear what comes out of it.

This is correct as I recall.

Can we have a “Mully Day”, where it’s legal to take out Bogans.

I’m a bit sad. He should be resurrected so he can take out a few more bogan mates.

So little time, so many potential targets…

I’ll have a slab thanks.

Well, he did kind of get a memorial – its on the bridge between the old police station and the first floor behind the Woden Church’s centre.

Its interesting reading the summary of the previous day’s proceedings in the paper.

He’s achieved Bogan Nirvana, he is famous. People talk about him, he’s mentioned in the media, I’m sure others in the Bogan World are envious of his success.
