This in from a reliable source:
- A number of SES volunteers were on a call out on Saturday night at Mackellar where a house had suffered severe storm and fire damage. As such they set up a lighting tower as well as a number of flashing blue and red lights to warn people and motorists of the danger.
During the course of the call out, someone in a Commodore stole the flashing red and blue lights. The car was followed the vehicle but lost towards Charnwood.
Nice work by idiots flogging vital safety equipment from a volunteer organisation who had to pay for those lights themselves.
With some luck karma will have something to say and a storm will blow their roofs off soon.
