The Canberra Times informs us that the Director of ACT Corrective Services, James Ryan, has announced he’s departing, with no plans for his future.

Simon Corbell’s Department of Justice and Community Safety seems to be turning over mighty fast at the moment.

Simon says it’s all going to plan.

WTF – the same bloke that was appointed a NSW Magistrate in 2005? Good to see you are keeping up with the news. Carrying a grudge much?

Can he take Folpp with him? Mind you, with both of them gone (and Keady too), the Ombudsman and HREOC may run out of things to do

It’s probably appropriate that James Ryan retires, especially in light of the selection of his personal friend to conduct the review of the AMC.

Jeez, the bloke is pushing 70. You’d reckon he would be allowed to retire.
