A 25-year-old Richardson man is receiving medical treatment after three men allegedly broke into his home and assaulted him earlier this morning (Wednesday, April 11).
Just after 2 am, the man was woken by three men pulling him out of bed and hitting him repeatedly with baseball bats.
The man was then bound with cable ties and tape as the three men stole a television, mobile phone and the man’s car.
The car was later located burnt out in Rohan Street, Richardson.
The victim received a fractured hand and possibly has a fractured skull, along with some minor injuries.
ACT Policing Criminal Investigations Detectives are investigating the incident.
