Two people were injured last night (Wednesday, March 23) after a large rock was thrown at an ACTION bus in Richardson.

Around 11pm, the bus was travelling along Clift Crescent when the rock was thrown through one of the side windows.

Two passengers on the bus were taken to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.

A witness told police he saw four males aged between 15 to 17 laughing and giving “high-fives” to each other as they were running away from the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the Richardson area last night to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

There is a marked increase of egg and rock throwing, pulling out bats and knives activities in Tuggeranong this year.

No there hasn’t. Idiots like these have been around for years.

There is a marked increase of egg and rock throwing, pulling out bats and knives activities in Tuggeranong this year.

A girlfriend in the next suburb had her home egged an hour before the rock throwing incident at the bus in Richardson last night, by 4 kids on their P’s. Same kids? Who knows!

blood stains, speed kills
fast cars, cheap thrills

it is a very long street.

Yep & it covers Chisholm & Richardson. If anything is going to happen in Richo it will more than likely be on Clift Cr.

it is a very long street.

What is it about Clift Crescent? Whenever something bad happens in Canberra, chances are high that this street figures in it somewhere.
