Riot Act Deja vu

Can any of the techos explain my computer just returning 6 months to 28 March 2007, as I refreshed today’s stories. Did it three times, so hardly random.

Even spookier, I also crossed to the Bureau of Meteorology for the weather map, to be shown the map of the same date.

Interestingly, the input by Johnboy on this day was overwhelming, and perhaps reinforces others comments regarding his loss to the site.

Cranky,

your IE cache sounds as though it went to a random page view from a while back. time to drop old content and do a de-frag matey.

Nope. Just the home laptop connected via Transact and Netspeed as the ISP.
Jemmy may well be correct, specially given the turmoil in local connections recently.

Are you accessing it through an government computer system?
My personal website was updated over a year ago and the old site erased. On most computers, the new site appears. But computer on ACT Government networks still show the site from over a year ago which is no longer on my server.

Perhaps your ISP’s cache had a small hiccup? Admittedly it’s unlikely nowadays, though it explains two different sites with old info.

john put a lot of articles up because he was a full time editor of this site at the time for which we are still grateful. Now we have to share it around a little. Swings and roundabouts really
