RiotACT reacts badly when I leave town

What happens when I dare to leave town for the weekend?

Killer Storms race through the city and power down the RiotACT bunker. Which was then not powered up in sequence and you all had to find better things to do with your weekend.

We did have the site back up for four hours on Sunday afternoon but what looked like a TransACT issue (but might have been our ISP) took us back down until this morning.

Anyway things are now back to normal.

That is all.

UPDATED: And then we had another two power outages during the day for unrelated reasons. Hopefully we can now return to normal service.

For UPS’s this will sound very odd, but head off to bunnings in tuggers fro them.

Oh dear! The secret location of the RiotACT server has been revealed…. now everyone could go down under the sedition laws… if any one suddenly disappears we know why now!

coz I know you K

JB or whoever, did you get the update to the Same-sex legislation story?
Updated and posted it this morning

Why me, Jey? JB’s more likely to be able to give you the right answers…

The RiotACT server sits in a spare bedroom at JB’s folks place, hooked into a little router, which connects us into Transact. This is why we always go down when there’s a power glitch. So if anyone knows of a good little UPS going cheap, let us know.

My BF(IT Geek)asked something about the server…I think he wanted to know where it was…

I’ll email Kerces if this thread doesn’t answer his q

Cheers
