When you hear about a burglary sentencing some things are crushingly predictable.
And so we come to Rodney Payne, who left home when he was 18 to move in with his long suffering girlfriend (although not so much suffering that she didn’t have three children with other men along the way, and one of his), a record of 30 offences that he’s been caught for, out on a good behaviour bond when he broke into a Calwell vet clinic and made off with a dryer and an air compressor.
Sadly for Rodney he left a cigarette butt in the middle of the floor which the police were able to get his DNA from.
