Simon Corbell has put out a public warning about a ‘rogue builder’, a Matthew Rixon, who is unlicensed and operating under several business names. Rixon has apparently been involved in several cases of quoting work prices and receiving payment, then not carrying any work out. He has also supplied customers with incorrect contact details.

Mr Rixon is believed to be operating in the ACT under the names:

  • Affordable Home Solutions
  • Affordable Fencing Solutions
  • Rixco Building
  • Rixco Electrical and
  • Rixco Earthworks

Bloody hell. I was channel flicking and saw a story about Canberra so stayed an watched it. Would you have done the same?

Haven’t commented here for a couple of years and now I remember why.

Don’t throw all your toys out of the pram and remember that Jesus loves you

Yes, sorry for upsetting you bergamot but my comment was purely tongue in cheek & meant in jest.

I had the same affect on my father at Xmas time when he wanted to watch TT for some ill informed waste of time & I made the comment that Neighbours was a more factual program than TT. His retort was “If you watch that sh!t you need your head read!!!!”

Oh the irony……

It was actually in yesterday’s Canberra Times – the NSW Commissioner for Fair Trading issued a warning to ACT and NSW consumers about ‘not dealing with fencing and decking contractor Matthew Rixon’ – http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/warning-over-fencing-contractor-20120724-22njf.html

You watch ACA & think it is cutting edge?

Your question should be “You watch ACA and think?”
