I just like to have a cuppa in the garden on a sunny morning and wander around taking photos of my flowers.. I like to have the light coming through the flower from behind and am really pleased when I have a bug or tiny spider checking the flower out and gets in the shot.

I am not a photographer and use a digital SLR Canon . I have to admit to using the auto option a lot..:)

Some stunning shots in there…is it too much to ask for details like camera, exposure? all the sometimes boring stuff but interesting for..wait for it….budding photographers?!

Woah woah.. hold up!..

This week you’re asking other people for exposure settings, next week you’ve got a website your nephew made and you’re at a wedding expo telling everyone you’re a photographer!

It’s a slippery slope.

Ahahaha I’d like to think my photogrpahy is up to that standard…plus my brothers and sisters are still do young to have kids so I hope to god I don’t have a nephew yet. Nah it’s more recreational then professional for me anyway. But thank you to MJAY for posting a link.

I just read this comment on a gardening blog and had to share. It failed on so many levels but I particularly love that awesome is misspelled “assume”:
“The amazing rose grows in Aussie land???? call me nieve or a believer of history but I was under an impression that roses can only grow in the northern hemisphere I just think its cool that you guys who have summer during our winter get roses to grow. Way to go on every effort you make. [some inanity edited for brevity] I am still amazed to know that a southern hemisphere can grow roses bravo to you all…”
Love it! It’s like: so how d’yall do any gardening while you’re walking around upside down? Hyuck.

I love the roses.Spectacular

If only we could smell them…Although last time I did an earwig tried to climb up my nose.

You can find the exif data on my flickr stream, if you click on ‘actions’ then ‘view exif info’.

It should tell you everything you need to know, anything else just ask 😀
