Meet our lovable pets of the week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Dog of the Week: Lola
Ever seen those videos of cows in England who get released onto grass for the first time after a long winter and they lose it and start jumping and dancing with joy? Lola does that when she’s let out of the kennel and taken to our large yard!
Sweet little Lola, with an angelic face, wants to play and be wherever her human is. She’s really learned to trust and rely on humans; in fact, she’s become quite sooky in an adorable way. She’ll be waiting right by the door for when you get home each day because that’ll mean play time, especially with toys, which is a lovely character trait she has – she shares her toys.
At just over two years of age and having spent way too long loving the attention she gets at our shelter from staff and volunteers, we’d dearly love to see Lola get adopted and find her happy new home.

Cat of the Week: Clementine
Clementine is a gentle soul who takes life at her own pace. She settled in beautifully in her previous foster home and is now ready to find a loving owner of her own. During her time in foster, Clem came out of her shell once relaxed and enjoyed snuggles, chatting and following her humans around to check in.
She is adorable and loves to jump up onto your lap to enjoy TV after dinner and some belly rubs before bed. Clementine loves chasing cat toys around and often finds ways to keep herself entertained.
Miss Independent can usually be found lounging around on top of a cat scratcher or snuggled up somewhere quietly watching the world go by.
While she appreciates her own space, she has a soft spot for her people and would love to be the apple of your eye. If you’re looking for a calm but affectionate companion, feel free to come and meet Clem today at RSPCA ACT!
