Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Ponyo, Gus and Forrest are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Bunnies of the Week: Ponyo & Gus

This bouncy pair of buddies may seem like an odd pair at first glance but get to know them a little and you’ll quickly understand that they’re a match made in bunny heaven.

Ponyo is a Flemish giant and weighs in at a whopping 4.7 kg – and this big girl is a total sweetie. She is full of vibrant energy and has a personality that really sets her aside. Due to her size and nature, she needs a lot of space to express herself and play with her very best friend Gus.

Gus is a smaller lop ear bunny weighing 2.3 kg. He is gorgeous and adores snuggling up with Ponyo. These two are the perfect pair and there is nothing cuter than watching them curl up together or have a play.

If you’re looking to bring some love into your home and take on two sweet little companions, these two are your perfect match! Ponyo and Gus would make the most adorable and entertaining duo, bringing endless heart-melting moments and lots of fun to their new forever home.

This pair will need to be rehomed together and would like a home without any dogs to bother them.

Forrest

Forrest is a big softie, just like his fur.

Cat of the week: Forrest

Handsome doesn’t even begin to describe this lovely boy and his stunning mane, wide eyes, and luscious coat. Just like his fur, Forrest is a big softie and loves people, but he is still learning to trust and come out of his shell. Every day he becomes a little more brave and is definitely finding his roar (meow).

While he does love a pat, especially a chin scratch but he can still be a little bit of a scaredy cat sometimes. Due to this, Forrest would prefer a home without little noisy people or other pets as loud noises and sudden movements frighten this lovely boy.

In the right home, Forrest would flourish. He is only four years old and definitely has the ability to become a lovely, social butterfly when his boundaries are well respected. He is more than his stunning looks, this boy has so much love to give and can’t wait to find the purrfect home.

If you’re looking for a handsome, loving and sweet cat, Forest is your boy.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
