Stare into my eyes… and adopt me! Ally is waiting for a family that she can rule over.

Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to the sweet but independent Ally and gorgeous girl Daisy.

Cat of the Week – Ally

Playful Ally found herself at the Shelter due to her previous family having too many animals to look after, so now she’s looking for a new home to call her own.

In the past Ally has lived a mostly outdoor lifestyle and would like a new home that allows her to come and go as she pleases, preferably in a secure cat run.

Ally needs the opportunity to express her independence and will still appreciate affection when she chooses to give it. While Ally can enjoy a nice pat and a cuddle, she would prefer for it to be on her terms rather than yours.

This lovely lady can become antsy when handled too much, and is most happy when she’s in charge.

Ally absolutely loves to play and would love a new home that is filled with plenty of toys and enrichment opportunities. Though Ally is playful, she strongly dislikes the presence of other animals and will need a home where she can rule the house on her own.

Daisy may be a black dog, but she has a sweet soul and is waiting to find her forever family.

Dog of the Week – Daisy

Sweet Daisy is a loving girl that’s been waiting to find her forever home since late March.

This friendly pooch spends her days walking with our volunteers and running about in the yard playing with her favourite tennis balls.

When Daisy isn’t out being a playful young dog, you’ll find her snoozing away in the sun of her kennel.

Daisy gets on well with other dogs, however occasionally her play style can get a little rough. If you own another dog and would like Daisy to join your family, we will need to arrange a meet and greet between both dogs to ensure that they will be able to develop a great and lasting bond.

This friendly girl loves her food, and enjoys a good butt scratch every so often. When you take Daisy into your home, you’ll find that she is the kind of dog that wants to share your life and your couch!

We recommend Daisy for a family with children eight years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.

Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston ACT 2611 and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
