Dog of the Week – Cookie
Cookie is an elegant lady who is looking for her forever home. Cookie came to us through no fault of her own. She’s had a rough start to life with very little stability, but since spending time with the team in the shelter, she has slowly started to show us her true living personality.
Cookie loves her daily walks and spending most of her time with her people. She would be best suited to a home with someone patient and soft who can give her the time she needs to settle in and become the best dog she can be. We would love to see her in a household where the family is home often, and happy to include this sweet girl in their daily activities.
Cookie could suit a multidog household with a friendly male dog. Cookie has had minimal exposure to children but seems to enjoy their company. We know with time and patience, her new family will be rewarded with a loving and loyal companion who will give endless joy.
Kane’s looking for a new best friend.
Cat of the Week – Kane
Meet lovely Kane. He’s taken a bit of time getting used to people, but he’s now ready to find his forever family. He is a gorgeous cat and has come quite a long way, but he’s looking for a family to help him adjust to his new life as a loved companion.
Previously, Kane enjoyed pats only when accompanied by food, but now you won’t be able to get away from him and his thirst for attention! He loves to greet you and enjoys conversing with humans. He will make a great companion.
He is very interested in and seems to enjoy the company of other cats. Given a slow introduction, he would most likely love to live with another feline.
Kane is looking for a home with a family that will allow him to settle at his own pace and become a part of the family. If you think you have the love and patience, this beautiful boy deserves, please don’t hesitate to come on in.
