Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Franklin, Eleanor and Evie are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Rabbits of the Week – Franklin & Eleanor

Franklin and Eleanor are a bonded pair of bunny rabbits currently waiting to find their forever home. Arriving at the shelter through no fault of their own, these bouncy bunnies are ready to hop on out of the shelter together.

Franklin and Eleanor are extremely shy, but once they settle into a new home and get to know their new owners we believe they’ll become very affectionate. Franklin and Eleanor will need an enclosure big enough to house both bunnies together, with lots of room for movement, sleeping and other enrichment activities.

Franklin and Eleanor will enjoy an enriching living space filled with tasty treats, toys and hiding spaces. This will help make sure the bonded pair are kept physically healthy and mentally stimulated in their new home.

As Franklin and Eleanor are a bit shy and skittish, they will be best suited to a family with children over the age of 12 who have had prior bunny experience. Please note, photos of their new enclosure will need to be seen by staff prior to adoption.

Evie the pooch is looking for a forever home! Could this be yours?

Dog of the Week – Evie

Evie’s didn’t have a very good life prior to arriving at the RSPCA. This lovely lady has very little experience with a loving and caring home. For this reason, this darling girl is looking for an experienced, patient and understanding owner who is prepared to help her move towards a bright future.

Evie is an active lady who is very loving and playful. However, she would prefer a quieter and calm home and will not be suitable to live with young children. Evie can be very selective about her other canine friends, but with prior meet and greets she may be open to meeting a playful male companion. We recommend all interactions between children and dogs should be monitored at all times.

Evie cannot wait to find a caring and compassionate family that she can live with forever. Evie is ready to give all her love to the right people and find her new forever home.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
