Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Hiccup and Pumpkin are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Cat of the Week – Hiccup

Meet Hiccup! This handsome cat arrived at the shelter as a stray, and with a little bit of love is now ready to find a new forever home to call his own. Hiccup hasn’t enjoyed life at the shelter, he’s a little stressed, so would love to find a home where he can be the only animal in his human’s life.

Hiccup would also prefer a home with adults only. He prefers to spend his time with mature people who understand his needs and boundaries. Hiccup would like to be an indoor cat with free access to the outdoors through a secure cat run that will help keep him safe.

Hiccup is a beautiful cat and he loves to explore. This charming guy will ask for your attention but will only be cuddly on his own terms, and when he feels like it.

Hiccup is looking for a quiet home with a dedicated family to help him settle into his new environment. With time, patience and dedication Hiccup will become a well-loved member of the family. If you are interested in adopting Hiccup, make sure you speak with our team.

Pumpkin

Sweet Pumpkin is looking for a loving forever home to call her own.

Dog of the Week – Pumpkin

At two years old, Pumpkin is a gorgeous young girl with plenty of spice and energy! A dog with lots of love to give, Pumpkin is looking for a dedicated family willing to put the time and dedication into making her a great canine companion.

Sweet Pumpkin definitely hasn’t had the easiest start to her life. She wants to find a loving family with a great home where she can be allowed to spend lots of time with her people.

Currently at the shelter, Pumpkin loves to go out on her daily walks and enjoys playing with a tennis ball. She’s still working on the part where she brings it back but with some time and training we think she could get the hang of it.

Pumpkin loves walks, food, toys and people, and if you can give her these things she will love and adore you in return.

Like most adolescent dogs, Pumpkin is still learning to use her manners. But with some treats, training and dedicated humans by her side she’ll be the best pooch on the block in no time.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
