Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Ripley and Nymph are this week’s Pets of the Week! Two gorgeous animals waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Ripley

This gorgeous girl is Ripley and she’s ready to leave the Shelter and live her life to the absolute fullest! This darling lady is a big dog and she’s spent her months here working with the team perfecting her doggy manners. There is still lots to learn, and Ripley would benefit from a family willing to continue teaching her new things outside of the Shelter.

Ripley loves treats and will make the perfect companion for someone who is committed to her training. This energetic pooch would love to spend her weekends at training classes and meeting some other friendly dogs – especially boys!

Toys and tennis balls are some of Ripley’s favourite things! When she isn’t chewing her rope in her kennel, you’ll find this lovely lady lining herself up in the yard ready to catch your throw. Ripley loves to play, and a family with a large backyard and plenty of love to give will suit this darling dog greatly.

Like any pet, Ripley will need plenty of exercise and enrichment in her life to ensure that she is mentally and physically healthy. She can’t wait to become somebody’s very best friend!

Nymph

Nymph is a lovely lady cat that wants to find her perfect family.

Cat of the Week – Nymph

Sweet Nymph came to the RSPCA due to a change in her previous owner’s circumstances and is ready to start a new life with a forever family. Nymph is looking for someone who has plenty of time, patience and love for her to allow time to settle into a new home.

Nymph is still learning how to trust new people. While this lovely lady is very friendly, loving and affectionate, at times she can still be unsure of new situations and unfamiliar people.

This darling lady cannot wait to be loved and cherished by a new forever family. For the moment, Nymph would like to live in a home with no other animals. She’s a little selfish and would like all the time to bond with her new people. Nymph could potentially live with older and mature children. However, it would be important to Nymph that she meets them first to ensure they will be good friends.

Nymph’s beautiful pale complexion means that she will need to be an indoor-only cat. Occasional outdoor access via a cat run, enclosed garden or even harness training would be greatly appreciated at times. This lady also is on a special diet as the team believe she has a food allergy. Nymph’s new family will need to ensure she is eating the correct food to keep her happy and healthy!

Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
