Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
This week, say hello to gorgeous dog Ripley and her darling cat counterpart Kit Kat!
Dog of the Week – Ripley
Ripley is a whole lot of dog and she’s ready to leave the Shelter and live her life to the fullest. She is one big, but sweet-natured girl, working hard on learning appropriate dog manners.
Toys and tennis balls are some of Ripley’s favourite things! When she isn’t chewing her rope in her kennel, you’ll find this lovely lady lining herself up in the yard ready to catch your throw. Ripley loves to play, and a family with a large backyard and plenty of love to give will suit this darling dog greatly.
Ripley loves treats and will make the perfect companion for someone who is committed to her training. This energetic pooch would love to spend her weekends at training classes and meeting some other friendly dogs – especially boys!
Like any pet, Ripley will need plenty of exercise and enrichment in her life to ensure that she is mentally and physically healthy. This gorgeous girl can’t wait to become somebody’s very best friend!
Kit Kat wants to find a forever family to call her own!
Cat of the Week – Kit Kat
Sweet like chocolate, Kit Kat could be the one for you! This bright lady found her way to the Shelter when she wasn’t getting along with the resident cat in her old home. After some time at the Shelter this lovely lady is ready to find a brand new family.
Kit Kat is beautiful, sweet, outgoing and an absolute princess. She likes to have things her own way and will certainly tell you when she is ready for pats, naps and delicious food. During socialisation with our volunteers, we discovered Kit Kat loves to give head bumps and rub against legs, delivering sweet smooches and meowing about her day.
Kit Kat must be the centre of your universe! She won’t feel like sharing you with any other pets in the house and it is especially important that she meets all her new servants before being adopted.
This lady would prefer to live indoors only to ensure she is kept safe. However, she would not be opposed to a secure cat run, outdoor garden or supervised outdoor time. Kit Kat loves affection and attention, and looks forward to meeting the perfect family who will love to spend time with her.
